Today, I went to the center to deliver three cakes. Two cakes went to twin girls who turned two. The other cake went to a little boy who seemed to be really surprised that we came in with gifts, balloons and a cake. He seemed genuinely taken back with it.
The twin girls were just as adorable as can be. They were more amused at the balloons than with anything else and they were really shy, but we got little smiles from them.
Today, I went with my friend Meghan. She helped take some pictures today. I will add more pictures to this blog post later on, but we’ll get to show you who we helped today.
To be able to see these children smile and to really see that they are appreciative just warms my heart. I am so blessed to be able to do this and to give to them what they want: birthday cakes, birthday gifts, and last but not least, birthday smiles.
