December was such a busy time of the year with preparing for our own Christmas’ and helping those children who had December birthday’s. We have such an awesome group of volunteers. This month, we helped 11 children have their birthdays. Each one of them enjoyed their special day and the parents were so thankful that we were able to help them out, especially during a big holiday month.
We want to thank our December volunteers who even though they didn’t have to during the Christmas season, made sure that our birthday blessings were able to have a memorable one. 2012 was our first full year as an organization. In total, we helped 143 children, and I’m sure the new year will bring more children to help.
2013 is going to be a great year for us. We have already launched a new look to our website, and hope that you will check it out. Also, in early 2013, we will officially have our 501c3 status at the federal level. This is going to be so huge for us. This will enable us to give donation receipts, accept bigger donations, and also accept cash donations from bigger corporations. We hope to be able to bring in more children to help within our communities. Remember, the only way that we can grow is by spreading the word, so please tell everyone about us.
