We were so busy in February, and after doing the count to see how many kids we actually helped, I can see why it felt as busy as it was!
February brought us 36 children to help in the KC Metro area! 36!!! This beat the record set in October 2012 where we helped 24 children!
With the addition of the KCK School district and the article in the KC Star, February was an amazing month. We are certainly thankful for these additions, and especially to our volunteer staff who made this happen.
Special thank you to our February volunteers who helped make many children smile and who helped those parents be able to give something to their children for their special day. Even with the snow storms that came around, you all did your part and you helped make it happen. We appreciate you so much.
