This afternoon, we had a delivery for a little boy turning eleven.
His mom was so excited when we came to the door and immediately called her son out of his room to greet us. He was so happy, and gave us a huge smile. He didn’t think he was going to have a birthday celebration today, but he was totally surprised.
He opened up his gifts and saw that he got a dart board and a nerf gun. He was so thankful and so pleased that he was able to have his birthday celebrated.
His mom wanted all of our volunteers to know who helped, that she is so very thankful for everything that we did to ensure that he would have his special day honored. She couldn’t thank us enough.
